Our First Blog

Justin and I decided that it would be fun to have this blog. There is a lot of new stuff that's going to start happening in our lives and we thought it would be nice to be able to share it with our friends and family.

Justin is keeping busy with his numerous jobs. He currently works for a cleaning service, as a lead cook at Pizza Hut and, to top it all off, he has a computer repair business which my family alone continuously supports :-) Justin is also working on scrapbooking some of our more memorable moments. I'm glad I have him for that since I can't do things like that.

My life has also been blessed recently by my work. I am a preschool teacher at a center called Stepping Stones. I am lucky enough to enjoy my co-workers and the children I see each day. Starting in the fall I'll have a raise and be working 40 hours a week. That can be a lot with 30 children each week but we're going to need it if our plans continue. Also, on my spare time (if you can call it that) I make quilts. Since Jan. I have made about eight quilts with two that were ordered. And I am making an ordered full sized cat quilt now for Justin's boss, who has previously bought one as well. I love picking out the unique fabrics and then seeing the final product. Any orders can be taken for any size :-P

We have decided that in a few weeks we are going to be searching for our very first home. Currently, we are in our Barbie Doll apartment, which I hate to admit but I actually really like, but we feel that it is time to begin searching for a home of our very own.

Also, we are working on planning some trips for this fall. Justin and I are going to do a driving tour of Southern PA and possibly up into NJ to visit my sister and then we also have a Christmas mystery trip with Justin's mom in Dec. Then there are a few lil trips thrown in here and there. I love travelling and am really excited to be able to visit these new places with the people that I love.

Well, I guess that's all for the first post. We have to get ready to go to Justin's aunt's house. She's having a summer picnic and you know what that means...FOOD!
